DoD Risk Management Framework – Securing Information Systems

The four day DoD RMF Course provides an introduction to the new DoD RMF process for securing military systems (DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01). It includes samples of key documents (Security Plan, Security Assessment Report, POA&M, Information Security Continuous Monitoring Plan). The DoD RMF process is based the key concepts of mission- and risk-based, cost-effective, and enterprise information system security.

Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)

EC-Council’s Certified Security Analyst/LPT program is a highly interactive 5-day security class designed to teach Security Professionals the advanced uses of the LPT methodologies, tools and techniques required to perform comprehensive information security tests. To sit the exam students will need to conduct a penetration test through EC-Council’s ilab cyber environment and submit a written report.

License Penetration Tester (LPT)

License Penetration Tester (LPT) certification validates the knowledge of vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing of internal, external, firewall, IDS, password cracking, social engineering, web application, SQL, routers and switches, wireless network, denial of service, mobile devices, surveillance cameras, database, VoIP, VPN, Cloud, Virtual Machines, log management, telecom, broadband, email security, security patches, data leakage and SAP.

 

  • To attempt the LPTV v8 Exam, one must possess an ECSA credential in good standing (any version of ECSA)
  • The LPT v8 Exam Kit costs USD899 and the Kit consists of:
    • Additional Reading Resources (Presentations, Templates, and Sample Reports.
    • Exam Voucher (Access Pass to iLabs for 5 days).
    • LPT License Fees for a year (upon passing the exam).
  • The exam duration is 30 days from the date the iLabs is activated and candidate is to submit the Exam Report within the exam period. Submission of Exam Report post the exam period would deem instant failure of passing the exam.
  • The cost to reattempt the exam is USD599.
  • Extensions for access to iLabs will be USD250 per 5 days extension. This does not affect the exam period.
  • After the initial 2 years each member will need to renew their LPT License with the annual renewal fee of $250.00. Members are also required to fulfill their ECE requirements.
