The course will consist of short lectures, demonstrations, and individual work. The majority of the time will be devoted to individual work and practice sessions, in which students will have an opportunity to develop their keyboarding skills using the textbook and keyboarding software. Multiple versions of typing software will be appropriated to provide skill testing and enhance technique. Software typing games will be used to allow students to practice their skills in a variety of formats.
